Biography
In 2010, Greg Cerrone is now well known as a producer, and as a saught-after DJ by French and International clubs.
His taste for electro music and his capacity in discovering exclusive tunes that will rock tomorrow make him an innovative artist.
Resident DJ in different radios worldwide like FUN Radio (National top radio in France) or FG DJ Radio, his Dj sets are available in podcast every week and are subscribed by more and more listeners worldwide. More than 150 mixes on line for this Podcast which is a reference in French electro scene.
Concerning Music Production, Greg, founder of the label “On The Air Music” stands out in 2007 with the tracks :
"PILLING ME" released in Jan 07 with a famous remix by Klaas (one of his first), the track rocks worldwide and is licensed in many territories like Australia, Spain, Canada…
"INVINCIBLE" in Oct 07 including a great remix by D.O.N.S. gets play-listed by many international top Djs : Pete Tong (BBC1) / Axwell / Sebastian Ingrosso / Steve Angello / John Dahlbäck / Tom Novy / David Guetta / Wally Lopez…
In 2008, his tracks « Schyzo », « Darkness », deeper, more big room mark the evolution of his own sound, in his productions and in his DJ Sets, and made Greg supported by the purest clubbers. Then came “Bullit” and “The Block”, remixed respectively by Miles Dyson and Wally Lopez. Greg produces the sound he appreciate and he likes to play in clubs, without concessions…
Greg has announced the taste of his first personal album “TAKING CONTROL”, which is released in jan 09. The first single of this album “Taking Control of you” is remixed by great producers such as D.O.N.S. / Jerry Ropero / Albin Myers / dA fresh. The track is broadcasted on many radios across Europ and fastly become one of the great club tune of the beginning of 2009.
The next singles from the LP / Album were “Fuxia Sky” remixed by Henrik B and Gold Ryan, then “Lipstick” remixed by the talented Avicii and “Let’s Go” remixed by Mischa Daniels.
Beginning 2010, Greg is already working on his next productions, with amazing featuring, three big electro house tracks with vocal will be released for WMC. Greg is back to his roots : make everybody dance and touch more and more people with his tracks.
Earlier,
Music addicted since his early childhood, Greg starts Djing House Music in the early 2000’s at the age of 21. He then gets closer to his father in 2002 for a great artistic work on the opus : “Hysteria” by Marc Cerrone. (French Disco Pionner of the 70’s who sold almost 30 millions of LP in his career…)
At this release event “Hysteria Party” at Olympia de Paris, Greg DJ's through the entire event in front of more than 3 000.
He then contributes to significant events :
- Techno Parade Paris, on the FG Radio Tank in Sept 2004, then in 05, 07 & 08, In front of huge crowd in the streets of Paris.
- July 1st, 2005, Greg takes an active part, mixing and working on the music production of "Cerrone's Dance Party" given on the grounds of the Versailles castle, gathering over 100 000 people.
In 2005/2006, his monthly residency @ Queen Club Paris, called "Game Over Party" is a success.
Then, permanent DJ events across France and Europe drive him to become a monthly resident in one of Moscow's trendiest club : The First Mansion.
2007, Greg becomes DJ resident in an another big Parisian electro club : The Redlight for the popular "On The Air Music” Party.
As a sign of his rise, he played twice last summer in one of the best after party in the world @ SPACE Club in Ibiza.
Greg is also booked for electro festivals to play in front of huge crowd.
Today, Greg has already played in many countries like : UK (London), US (Miami/Las Vegas), Canada (Montreal), Russia (Moscow), Brazil, Spain (Barcelona/Ibiza), China (Shanghai/ Guangzhou/Shenzen), Hong-Kong, Italia (Milano/Firenze), Monaco, Marocco (Casablanca/Rabat/Marrakech), Ukrainia (Kiev/Yalta), Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Tunisia, Algeria, Mauricius…
In the same time, Greg develop his own party “On The Air Music Party”, resident in 2009 at Queen club - Paris and also scheduled at WMC in Miami like at Dream Club last year.
He has also played for prestigious events like Film Festivals of Cannes, Marrakech or Deauville, and for big companies events like Apple Private Party, Microsoft X-BOX Party, Nokia tour, Playboy Party, Moët&Chandon…
