Biography
Oliver Slight began his early mix at the age of 14 years. At its inception, it has no professional equipment, he tries to chain music using 2 drives CDs and an amp to switch 2 inputs, this principle gives ideas and allows them to animate his first parties in festivals. It is a year later he bought his first turntable (a BST) and a Behringer mixer 6 tracks, then he goes to the vinyls shop in Lausanne, where he discovered the world of House Music.
With one turntable, he can then listen just on disc, so he decided to equip a second turntable (a Numark)…. Despite several attempts it gets to a semblance of mix but would have liked to follow an example to compare his work. Then he draws Octan Dj (Dj Resident Globull) and his partner Dee-Roc in 1997. Djs such perfectionists give him the desire to improve again and again. In 1998 he won his first parties in bars (The Jump and Memphis in Bulle). These early experiences in the world of night allow him to move forward and be identified. In 1999 he met Dj Django during a visit to the store Number One in Lausanne. This gives him a chance Dj mix for the first time in a nightclub (The Legend Club à Bulle). February 1, 2000, he hosted his first night in Globull. It is thanks to his determination and adaptation to the musical tastes of Clubbers he became a resident of Globull shortly after his first night. He persuaded night after night and everything comes together for him, he managed to get a place in Suisse Romande through collaboration with event organizer that gives dates in Biel, La Chaux-de-Fonds, Delémont and thus a great evening alongside Dj Tatana. Then, through meeting other Djs (Dam's, Time, Jean-Mix etc …), doors in other clubs canton of Fribourg and Lausanne are open to him. In 2006, he decided to devote himself to his studies and hinders his evenings in the world of night. But he returned in 2010, this time alongside Dee Roc's inspiration from the past and together the duo Still Brothers! Also in 2010, he met the famous Djaimin (investigator of the House in Switzerland and creator of the famous Pump it up and Put your hands up in the air), this valuable meeting allows him to discover the world of production and create his first title: Absolute Love! Some time later, Djamin wants to remix the title Finally and uses Duo Still Brothers!
In 2012 the duo works great, a perfect agreement between the two buddies can get their big dates such as evenings of Segalo Globull and many more.
