Fresh off her explosive re-emergence on the dance/pop scene with the Until Dawn remix of her classic 80’s hit “When Boys Cry,” Ashley Paul is offering a sly and sexy invitation to “Come and Get Me” on her latest single, set for release on Dauman Music as a remix package featuring mixes by Ogazumu (INNA, Mad3 for M3, SHAB featuring Martinez Twins),Ray Rhodes (Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Ariana Grande) and Until Dawn (Pink, Lisa Stansfield, Doja Cat, Ava Max), whose remix of “When Boys Cry” recently reached #2 on the Swiss Dance Chart Top 100 and is now Top 40 in Germany.

Penned by Ashley, Jacky’s Boy (Madonna, Lil Wayne, Flo Rida), Gemini Musiq (Post Malone, Justin Bieber) and music impresario/label owner Jason Dauman and co-produced by Jacky’s Boy and Gemini Musiq, the playful and infectiously discofied “Come and Get Me” is the singer’s way of reminding us in these challenging times that as in all good things in life, taking risks is everything.

Gemini Music says of the track, “It felt magical from the moment Ashley stepped in the studio. She sounds great. It was the first of what I know will be many more collabs!”

“There was a sexy story, a cat and mouse sort of game in my fantasy world,” muses Ashley, who was born and bred in New York City. “He’s a hologram, or is she a hologram? Do they ever really meet? Or do they exist in that tunnel chase in perpetuity? The song is my way of saying, ‘Stay tuned.’ During these past few years, relationships have taken on a different form, with more people looking for and finding love online, with no one really knowing who the other one was in a traditional sense. It’s sort of daring and alluring yet frightening at the same time.”

Back when Ashley was a teen dance sensation and released the original version of “When Boys Cry,” an insightful promo ad said that “the natural setting for this song is the radio. When it gets on the airwaves, watch out!” In 2022, she’s still at the top of her game, inspiring everyone to “watch out” again with “Come and Get Me.”
