  • Biography

It all started for Cutee B when he became vice-champion of the DMC DJ Championship in France. Many gigs in the biggest Parisian clubs quickly followed. Not satisfied with being just a DJ, he soon turned his attention to remixing and production, and also started his own label, Defrey Music, with a first release of French Hip Hop artists Fabe and Vibe.

At the same time, he met Bob Sinclar, with whom he started a long and fruitful collaboration. Following that first EP, he started doing remixes for Boyz II Men, Melgroove, Melaaz, Fabe, etc…Noticed for the quality of his mixes and remixes, he was asked to mix the ‘Motown New Flavas’ compilation and started his first radio mix show on Radio Génération 88.2 in Paris.

For BMG he did another compilation entitled ‘Cutee B Style’, producing all the unreleased tracks.

At the same time he composed and produced two tracks from Bob Sinclar’s’Champs Elysées’ album, « Feel For You » and « Darlin’ ». At this stage he started to produce more and more French R&B / Hip Hop acts, and he landed his own weekly radio show on Radio FG, the ‘Cutee B Style’ radio show.

He was asked by Bob Sinclar to remix the hit single « Zookey » by Africanism featuring Big Ali, and he then produced another Afro House track « La Jet » by La Jet Set from Ivory Coast which was a huge club hit in France.

But the big one for Cutee B was « Rock This Party » co-produced with Bob Sinclar. The song crossed-over all over Europe and was one of the most played on radio in Europe in 2006. The new one from Bob Sinclar and Cutee B, "Sound Of Freedom", is already n°1 in the Club Charts all over Europe. Cutee B currently works on various projects including an album for Freddy Evan’s
