KIM KAY
REBOUND
(Belgian Bed Records/-)
Belgian singer Kim Kay exploded out of left field and onto the European pop scene with her hit Lilali at the young age of 20. Shortly after, a deal with EMI was in place and hit singles followed along with tours and television appearances, both as a performer and actor, thrusting Kim Kay into the limelight.
In 2004, Kim was diagnosed with cervical cancer. She survived thirteen operations followed by multiple complications, which has kept her bedridden since 2017. Doctors told her she wouldn't see 2022, and here she is in 2025 singing tales of hardship, hope, love, and loss.
It's now 2026 and Kim Kay is stronger than ever on the heels of her bedside recorded "Life in Reverse," her 1st release in over a decade. Her single “Ordinary Love,” remixed by a host of superstars, climbed the European charts, both club and radio, in the UK, France, and Germany, and now Kim is following up with her latest single: Rebound.
Ralph Wegner (David Guetta) produced, and a host of remixes and features are to follow. Detroit rapper Better Unsaid hopped on a version, as did Cutmore and Mr. Root for UK club mixes. This fire single is a slice to the heart and a rebound off the dance floor. Kim Kay is back again—bold, fierce, and ready to go.
