OGAZUMU delivers a powerful remake of the 80s new wave classic "Omaha Beach" by Goût de Luxe! Released in 1987, this iconic track from the French Brittany band (famous for the hit "Les yeux de Laura") pays direct tribute to the Allied D-Day landings in Normandy on June 6, 1944, at Omaha Beach: the lyrics reference the historic assault, American soldiers' bravery, and even open with Verlaine's famous lines used as a BBC radio code to signal the invasion.

Now, OGAZUMU — the introspective, futuristic electro project born from a "high-tech programming glitch" — reimagines it with deep house grooves, cinematic atmospheres, and raw emotion preserved.
