LOUDWING DROPS THE BOMB

The iconic new wave anthem just got the best glow-up ever.

In 1980, Blondie released "Atomic" — the explosive hit from the album Eat to the Beat. Written by Debbie Harry and Jimmy Destri and produced by Mike Chapman, this track mixed raw punk energy with irresistible disco grooves and Debbie Harry’s legendary cool. It became a timeless classic of the New York new wave scene. (Around the same era, Blondie teamed up with disco legend Giorgio Moroder on the massive hit “Call Me”.)

Now, from his solar-powered synth in a beach cabin in Corsica, LoudWing — the patron saint of procrastination, champion of naps, and accidental inventor of Slothwave — delivers his effortlessly cool remake.

Too lazy to tour, too tired to promote, and definitely too relaxed to overthink it, LoudWing simply dragged a few loops, and accidentally created a fresh, hypnotic, dancefloor-ready version that honors the original while injecting pure modern lazy genius.

No hustle. No stress. Just pure atomic energy… delivered between two naps.
