Belgian singer Kim Kay exploded onto the Euro-pop scene with her hit Lilali at the young age of 20. She signed with EMI, and hit singles followed. In 2004, Kim was diagnosed with cervical cancer. She survived thirteen operations followed by multiple complications, which has kept her bedridden for the last decade. Doctors told her she wouldn’t see 2022. They were wrong. It’s 2026 and Kim is burning up the European club charts with her witty tales of love, loss, and hope.
Following up her club-charting single “Summer Again,” Kim is dropping her clever take on the classic French hit “Douliou Douliou Saint-Tropez.” Kim’s quirky and sultry vocals spill out of the speakers like an Aperol Spritz flowing from a carafe, while the stomp bass-heavy heartbeat of Ralph Wegner’s (David Guetta) production is keeping the dancefloors packed.
